Whether interested in daycare or overnight boarding, we require new clients to come for a mandatory full day trial assessment.
It is a full day assessment, which means drop off between 7:30-9:30am and pick up between 3:00-4:30pm.
For safety reasons, we ask that you stick within these times.
Once a trial has been successfully completed, you are welcome to book subsequent daycare days (full or half days) as well as overnight boarding.

Not only do they get to enjoy all the benefits of daycare, but your pup gets the added bonus of cuddling up with us all night! Boarding dogs will go in their rooms for meals, sleeping, and quiet time, but otherwise will be out with the rest of the pack enjoying enriching activities throughout the day.
A trial day must be completed before new clients can book overnight boarding. In the best interest of the dogs, we recommend that clients book several daycare days prior to boarding so that dogs can become comfortable with us and their new surroundings.
We have several large boarding suites available for overnight guests, as well as a den that can accommodate 3+ dogs with its own private yard. If your dog does not settle well in one of these suites, we will move them around to different areas of our facility until we find a spot that suits them the best. We care a lot about these dogs, as we know they are beloved family members. If we find they are too stressed, we will notify owners.
$92 + HST / night with 30% non-refundable deposit due upon booking.

In-home boarding is available, however a consultation and regular daycare attendance is required. In-home boarding approval is to the discretion of the home owner and is not guaranteed.
Food and medication administration is provided as directed by owner.

Please note that we are unable to accommodate dogs with behavioural issues, as they are not be a good fit for the environment and structure of our daycare and boarding services. If you’re seeking support or resources for your dog’s behaviour, we’d be happy to recommend trusted professionals and certified dog trainers who may be able to assist you.
All boarding reservations require a 30% non-refundable deposit. If a reservation has to be cancelled, regardless of the reason for cancellation, the deposit will not be returned. We rely on accurate and complete information about your dog’s behaviour when we start a relationship with you and your dog. If behavioural issues arise during their stay that pose a risk to staff or other dogs, and we determine it is necessary to end their boarding early or cancel a future booking, deposits will remain non-refundable.

Vaccine Policy
Every dog that attends The Ridge MUST be vaccinated for Rabies, DAPP, and bordatella.
If your dog does not have up-to-date records, The Ridge has the right to refuse services. Please email certificates to hello@theridgekennels.com

Dental Clinics
About twice a year we host a dental clinic that is run by KissableK9 at The Ridge. The difference they make is amazing! Check out their instagram page and/or website for more details. If you would like to join the waitlist, please reach out via email! Typically we host in the spring (March/April) as well as the fall (September/October).

Changes in 2025/2026
Overnight boarding will require a 30% non-refundable deposit, due upon receipt of booking request (ie. right away). Unpaid deposit requests will be added to the waitlist.
Major holidays will incur peak rates for overnight boarding. Peak rates will automatically apply when booking.
